Life without Air...
Description
Life without Air…
an intimate concert
A Journey of Love, Loss, and Light
Join Doc C & The Notes for a profoundly moving evening of music, memory, and healing. Doc C takes the stage along with The Notes, her magnificent 25-piece band, along with special guests to tell an intimate, deeply personal story through a masterful fusion of Big Band, Jazz, R&B, and Gospel.
This performance is a tribute to the enduring love for her son, a raw exploration of the devastating grief of his loss, and a celebration of finding the rainbow after the storm. Having picked up the acoustic bass after this tragedy as a vital tool to process grief, Doc C uses every note to honor his memory and give voice to a story that words alone cannot capture.
100% of all ticket sales will be donated directly to charity. All proceeds benefit Comfort Zone Camp, a wonderful non-profit organization that provides free, specialized grief camps for children who have lost a parent or sibling, including dedicated programs for suicide loss.

Dress Code & Honor Theme: Met Gala Dandyism
To beautifully unify our audience and collectively honor Doc C’s late son, Air, we invite all guests to participate in our evening's high-fashion dress theme.
The Theme: Met Gala Dandyism
The Meaning: Air loved dressing up and always looked incredibly handsome in a sharp suit. To honor his vibrant spirit and immaculate style, we ask our audience to follow in his stylish footsteps.
Attire Style: Think bold tailoring, elegant suits, statement tuxedos, and sophisticated accessories. Whether you lean into classic, dapper elegance or high-fashion, expressive Met Gala flair, we encourage you to dress to impress in Air’s honor. Let’s fill the theater with style, love, and light.
