🌈 Light a Life: Transplant Australia & Body Buddies' Pediatric Initiatives 🌈
We are so INCREDIBLY excited to invite you to our official Fundraising Gala Dinner! This year, the funds raised from the Gala Dinner will exclusively contribute to Transplant Australia & Body Buddies' groundbreaking project - the development of educational resources and support programs tailored for pediatric transplant recipients and their families.
With approximately 100 children receiving life-saving transplants in Australia annually, the need for specialized resources is more critical than ever. Transplant children in Australia currently do not have a consistent network of support around them - they don’t have national level resources tailored for young kids to understand, they don’t have documents & support programs for parents to help their young kids through transplants. All of this can help ease the very frightening transplant processes for families.
At this stage, some of the project components include:
- Printed and Digital Resources: Creating engaging educational materials for hospital and home use.
- Support Programs: Expanding on pilot programs like the Transplant Parent Peer-Support Group.
- Living with a Transplant for Kids: Establishing a dedicated online resource for pediatric recipients.

- Tickets: $150 per person, tables of 10 available (note: individually bought tickets are not tax-deductible)
