Illuminate your creativity in the premiere immersive light painting photography workshop!
Whether you’re a first-time dabbler or a light-painting pro, this workshop is for you. Our light painting photography workshop will be sure to expand your creative toolbox and light up your imagination; and there’ll be plenty of guidance, prompts, and support to help you along the way.
Under the guidance of our friendly and knowledgeable facilitator Cricket, you’ll work in small groups to conjure your light painting ideas to life, utilizing long-exposure photography, wielding various torches and luminous devices, and taking turns as models and painters in a collaborative journey of creation!
Bring your mates, your dates, or simply your darling self.
We encourage you to come in your most inspiring, unique, and confidence-inducing outfit ~ whichever one screams “Light me up!”
Of course, every light painted photograph created throughout the evening will be shared after the event for you to keep.

Here are the details:
Cost: contribute-what-you-can ~ in recognition that there's been an inordinate inflation of goods and services in recent years and endeavouring to make creative spaces financially accessible, you're invited to pay what is affordable for you, be that $5 to $50.
When: Wednesday 8th May 7pm-9pm (arrive 6:45pm for a 7pm start)
Where: Rio Bar in Summer Hill (intersection of Lackey St and Smith St, a 5min walk from Summer Hill Station and 2min from IGA carpark)
Accessibility: Unfortunately the event is wheelchair inaccessible due to access only via a staircase, and triggering for folks with epilepsy due to erratic light movement close to the face and eyes.
