FAQs

  • Do I need to know about Jane Austen?

No. Everyone is welcome. (We'd love to convert you)

  • Do I need to be a member of the society?

We don't technically have membership, if you turn up we think of you as a member.

  • I have accessibility or dietary requirements

We aim to meet at venues that are accessible and provide for all dietary requirements. Please check out the accessibility section or contact us if you're unsure. We want you to be there and we want you to be comfortable.

  • This is my first meeting and I'm nervous

We're so excited you're coming! A lot of us are introverts and we try to make it comfortable for other introverts. You can email Frances beforehand, or ask Pam when she brings you up in the lift, about any concerns and let us know if you'd like us to assign you a buddy
