Travel instructions
🚌 By Bus: The nearest bus stop is at the Pacific Fair bus station, just across from the main entrance to the Broadbeach Cultural Precinct. You can find timetables and routes via Journey Planner for convenience. 🚘 By Car: Arrive early to secure your parking! As the centre houses a large auditorium, events can fill up the carpark quickly. We recommend planning ahead to avoid missing out. 🅿️ Overflow Parking: If the main carpark is full, don’t worry! Additional parking is available at Pacific Fair, just a short walk away.
Entry instructions
Head straight through the main entrance of the Broadbeach Cultural Centre and make yourself comfortable while you wait for the doors to open. There’s plenty of seating available, so feel free to relax and hang out before the fun begins!
After entry instructions
To the dance floor!
Hazards
At our event, the main hazard for individuals with disabilities is the dark environment, as we turn off the lights to create the “dancing in the dark” experience. While most people’s night vision adapts, this can be challenging for those with visual impairments. We recommend that attendees with mobility or vision impairments bring a companion for support and inform our team at check-in for assistance. The dance floor can also get crowded, so we encourage all participants to move with care and be mindful of their surroundings for everyone's safety.
Toilet location
Toilets are located on the left-hand side of the building when entering the main entrance - you'll walk straight past them as you head toward the multi-purpose hall.
Accessible parking
There is accessible parking available.
Climate Control
In addition to air conditioning, the hall has two powerful industrial ceiling fans to aid in keeping everyone cool while dancing up a sweat!
