Join us for Lights Out Under the Stars, a mid-week moment of pure joy, connection and movement. It’s not your average silent disco. It’s a soulful dance experience for anyone craving a little me-time, mood-boosting music and some midweek magic.

No DJ. No stage to watch. No big production. Just you, your headphones, three playlists and a whole lot of people who reckon dancing is a pretty fun way to spend an hour.

Because sometimes you don’t need a big night out. You just need an hour under the stars. 🌙

Lights Out Under the Stars brings together the magic of our regular Dancing in the Dark sessions and the excitement of our signature Silent Disco Under the Stars events, creating a unique opportunity to spend an hour dancing outdoors mid-week beneath the night sky, surrounded by nature and the beautiful Gold Coast landscape.

Set amongst the ancient Moreton Bay fig trees along the Nerang River at HOTA, these special one-hour sessions strip everything back to what Lights Out is all about: great music, dancing in the dark and giving yourself permission to forget about everything else for a little while.

With your wireless headphones on, there’s no DJ or stage to watch and no complicated production to distract you. Just you, the music, the night sky and a bunch of other people who have decided that dancing is a pretty good way to spend an hour just having fun.

We carefully curate three playlists for each event, so you can choose your music and dance to your own vibe throughout the night. Whether you’re there to dance like nobody’s watching, sing at the top of your lungs or simply escape the everyday for an hour, Lights Out Under the Stars is your chance to press pause, step outside and just dance.

Because sometimes, an hour dancing under the stars is exactly what we need to get us through the rest of the week. 🌙🎧💚

Our equipment can’t be used in wet weather, and we won’t risk damaging it by pushing through the rain. If it rains, or the weather looks unsuitable for dancing outdoors, the event will be postponed to the next available Wednesday.

We’ll notify ticket holders by SMS and email by 6 pm at the latest. If you’re booking for friends and haven’t included their contact details, it’s your responsibility to pass on any updates.

Tickets will automatically transfer to the rescheduled date. If you’re unable to attend the new date, refund requests must be submitted in writing by 5 pm on the Friday following the postponement. Requests received after this deadline will not be accepted.
