Learn tips and techniques to capture impressive nightscapes during an after-dark journey along a 1.8km trail through the iconic City Botanic gardens. Towering tree canopies illuminated in colour, larger-than-life flowers, alongside shining neon roots, and dynamic glowing tunnels offer opportunities for unique photos and videos.

What you will learn:

Night Landscape Settings
Learn how to capture stunning night landscapes by adjusting your camera for low light, including tips on long exposure and minimising noise.

Master Manual Controls – Aperture, ISO, Shutter Speed
Understand how to use manual settings to control exposure and create the perfect shot, particularly in night landscapes.

Lens Selection for Landscapes
Discover how to choose the best lenses for capturing wide scenes or distant details in your landscape photography.

Nikon Z Series Tips and Techniques
Get practical tips for maximising the potential of your Nikon Z Series camera, including key features and settings for landscapes.

What to bring:

• Nikon Z Series Cameras and lenses available to try but welcome to bring own equipment.
• Your DSLR or Mirrorless camera (all brands welcome!) Don't forget to charge your batteries and bring spares
• Memory card (SD/XQD/CFE) so you can keep your photos at the end of the workshop
• Water bottle
• Weather Appropriate Clothing, Warm Clothing
• Head torch is recommended

Note – event organiser has requested no tripods or monopods due to safety reasons
