Lilier Lodge Open Day & 20th Birthday Celebrations

In May, Lilier Lodge celebrates 20 years since it started operating.   Lilier Lodge is a 21 room not for profit facility co owned by Can Assist and Cancer Council NSW that provides subsidised accommodation for over 1300 country people per year needing to travel to Wagga Wagga to undergo cancer and other medical treatments.  Lilier Lodge is a home away from home and safe haven for the many guests who stay, and offers comfort, serenity and support for people during a very stressful time in their lives.

We plan to commemorate and celebrate our milestone, acknowledge everyone who has needed to walk through our doors and thank all those communities and advocates from Wagga Wagga and across the wider regional areas that have supported Lilier Lodge since 2004.  We will be holding an Open Day on Saturday May 11th, with a celebratory ceremony taking place from late morning.

Tours of the Lilier Lodge Facility will be available from 10am to 11.45am on the 11th May with no registrations required.

The Official Proceedings will be held from 12pm to 2.30pm on the 11th May in a special marquee at Lilier Lodge.   Registrations, at no cost, are required for logistical and catering purposes.   Please RSVP by Wednesday 24th April.
