Lilydale: Imagining lutruwita's Deep Time + Yyan & Emily
Event description
Join us on a spectacular journey through deep time: from our island’s birth, over a billon years ago, to the mountain-crushing ice age that brought the arrival of the First People.
This event will tell this incredible geological story through story-telling, music and live performance art.
Featuring musicians Emily Sheppard, Yyan Ng and Georgia Shine, together with scientist and storyteller Penelope Jones and visual artist Amy Jackett.
This performance will take place at Valentino Safe Co. on September 9th. The show is also touring to Wynyard, Queenstown and Launceston.
