The Schwing Thing
The Schwing Thing is a hard hitting, genre-defying fusion trio originally formed by award winning guitarist Julius Schwing. With long time collaborators Hamish Houston on electric bass and Konrad Park on drums, this trio smashes through an array of original colours celebrating a rich history and synergy between its members. This will be the first gig in a very long time for the Schwing Thing, a reunion not to be missed!
PMD
PMD is an exciting new trio playing electronic jazz fusion inspired by the likes of Donny McCaslin, Mark Guiliana, and Robert Glasper. The trio is comprised of Jode Brewster on the saxophone and synthesisers, Seb Folvig on bass, and Aaron Loveless on drums.
The Dorian Clennett Quartet
Dorian Clennett is a young musician from lutruwitta/Hobart, exploring the fusion of rock, jazz, and funk influences in improvised music. Dorian will be accompanied by some of Hobart’s finest. Olly Mitchell (Sax), Max Makro (Bass), and Lachlan McKee (Drums)
