In partnership with Brimbank Learning Futures and Aspiring Young Africans Foundation (ASPYA), Linked IRL is a networking event for young people aged 16-25 years who live, work, study, or recreate in the City of Brimbank, DESIGNED by young people.

Daniel Oyay
Daniel Oyay is a South Sudanese professional currently working at Colliers, a global commercial real estate investment firm in this role he specialises in the management and transaction of industrial/warehouse properties nationally and internationally for corporate clients. In addition to his role at Colliers, Daniel serves as the Business Development Officer at NextGen Unite, a youth-led South Sudanese organization dedicated to empowering future generations through community programs and strategic partnerships. In this capacity, he supports the CEO in developing strategies, expanding partnerships, and designing impactful programs.
Emily Phan
Emily is driven by an insatiable curiosity for people, systems, and the invisible frameworks that shape our world. With a double degree in Biomedical Science and Commerce (Finance), she began her career in the fast-paced world of major banks—first at Commonwealth Bank in retail banking, then at Goldman Sachs as a stock researcher and analyst. But it was her early experiences volunteering with underprivileged children that continued to resonate deeply, ultimately guiding her back to where her passions truly lie: community and social impact.
After a transformative gap year spent traveling and navigating chronic pain, she returned to community work.
Emily now thrives in spaces where she can question convention and reimagine outdated structures, designing creative, lasting solutions that empower individuals and strengthen communities. She is passionate about fostering social cohesion and empowering future generations through inclusive, collaborative, and participant-led initiatives.
Jonathon Atar
John has spent the past decade as a National Nominated Supervisor in the Early Childhood Education sector, working closely with the Department of Education before transitioning into the BPO space. There, he managed operations across a portfolio of government in public health and private insurance. Looking to challenge himself and grow further, John made the move into recruitment—spending over a year with a consulting firm, where he played a key role in scaling a successful temp desk.
His professional journey, combined with a genuine passion for supporting others in their growth, led to the creation of Prospect Recruitment Group. John now leads the contract and temporary staffing division, with a focus on delivering quality workforce solutions across multiple industries.
Outside of work, John is an avid footballer currently playing in the Yarrawonga region and enjoys giving back through youth and community.
Daniel Quinto
Daniel is a Strength & Conditioning Coach at The Athlete HQ with a Masters of Physiotherapy (newly graduated). His experience spans from grassroots to elite levels, including work with AFL and collegiate basketball players. In addition to his coaching background, he has held key sports medicine roles, including a physiotherapy internship with Western United FC and Head of High Performance and Head Sports Trainer positions for local football clubs. Outside of his professional life, Daniel is also a studio musician.
