Get your professional headshot taken for LinkedIn
Event description
Want a professional photo for your LinkedIn profile?
As part of our ‘Getting started on LinkedIn’ workshops, JFA Purple Orange is offering free photo sessions for people with disability. These sessions are funded through the South Australian Government’s Digital Inclusion grants program.
A strong photo helps your LinkedIn profile stand out and shows you at your best. You don’t need any LinkedIn experience to attend.
This session is part of our Series 3 ‘Getting Started on LinkedIn’ workshops.
How it works:
There are 5 sessions across the day:
10am–11am
11am–12pm
1pm–2pm
2pm–3pm
3pm–4pm
Each session is 1 hour long
Up to 6 people can book into each hour
You’ll receive a professional headshot to use on your LinkedIn profile
We’ll take care of the background, lighting and location — you just need to come ready to smile for the camera.
For your photo, please:
Wear tidy, professional clothes that suit your personality and the kind of work or industry you are interested in.
Avoid hats, sunglasses, or clothing with busy patterns that can distract from your face.
Choose something that makes you feel confident — for example, people in creative industries may prefer something bolder than a business suit.
You can register for one session only. Places are limited.
Registrations for this workshop close at midnight on Sunday 25 January, 2026.
