This low-cost, non-selling Linkedin Local Tauranga event is a chance to get to know the real people behind the LinkedIn profiles you admire and make lasting connections without the pressure of a sales pitch.
We believe that people do business with those they like and trust, so join us, have a chat and make a connection, meet new friends, and maybe even bump into some familiar faces.
At LinkedIn Local Tauranga, the focus is on:

The event will be hosted in the pavillion at The Kollective TK, in Tauranga. Light refreshments will be provided.

LinkedIn Local Tauranga is hosted by Leeann Bassett from Face Up Now, social media consultant and Alana Swain from Your Success Team, business coaching.
Guest Speaker:
Shelly Davies is an author, speaker, and coach of Māori descent, known internationally for her unconventional and irresistible work in the field of plain language and clear communications. Shelly has presented at TEDx Tauranga on the death of the formal business voice and has taught plain English at Brigham Young University. Part rockstar, part wordsmith, 100% badass, Shelly teaches others how to break all the rules and give themselves the permission to live their wildest dreams.
Shelly will be speaking to us about "lessons in badassery" - a little collection of things she's learned that have helped her business grow every year for 11 years. But even more importantly, have helped her build the life she wants.
Event format:
8.30am The Kollective doors open (arrive early as parking can be a challenge around the Historic Village area). Light refreshments will be served.
8.30am - 9.15am Networking time
9.15am Welcome and guest speaker - Shelly Davies
10am Guest speaker finishes up - more networking time
