LEARN A NEW SKILL with Gillian Kline at Freestone Press, a fully functioning Printmaking Studio.

Learn the process of transferring the image of your choice, either a photo thatyou love or original drawing of your own, re-sized to the lino dimensions, that you would like to represent as a lino cut. You will be taken through the process of getting your image transferred to a lovely piece of silk cut lino, shown how to cut the lino successfully using a range of lino cutting tools and techniques and finally to inking up with high quality Caligo safe wash, relief ink, and printed on some high- quality print making paper, Fabriano Rosisapina, by a purpose- built relief press, which you will learn to use.

You will come out of a 2- day workshop with an edition of 5 of your prints.

This workshop will be facilitated by Inward Goods, providing Camping facilities and 3 meals a day lovingly cooked for you by the Inward Goods team.

INWARD GOODS will also take you to Blue Pools for a swim, found just up the road from Freestone Press!

If you fancy the idea of an Artists Camp of learning new skills and staying in a beautiful part of the world, this is for YOU!

MAX amount of people 15, must be prepared to camp with outdoor shower, composting toilets and a mindful group dynamic.

All materials for the lino cutting workshop provided as well as camping amenities and meals.

FRIDAY: Arrive in the afternoon from 3pm - Set up camp and hang out until dinner at 7pm.

SATURDAY: Breakfast followed by a day in the studio with breaks for lunch and afternoon tea.

SUNDAY: Breakfast followed by another day in the workshop where you will begin printing your work!!

The workshop weekend will conclude after our afternoon tea break allowing you time to pack up and get back to you respective homes by Sunday evening.
