FAQs

  • What if I can't draw?

Don't worry, most people tell me this and they bounce out the door at the end of the class, stoked with what they've created! Together, we will workshop your design to ensure it is suitable to the lino medium. You can - as a last resort - always trace your design. I do like people to at least have a go at drawing their design first, you might be pleasantly surprised!

  • Do you have other classes?

Sure do - you can check out my beginner-friendly "Let's Lino" class. This is suitable to intermediate printmakers and even you advanced printmakers might learn some new tips and tricks from a fellow creative. You can also check out my collage & mixed media workshops for something different. Classes have a focus on education and empowerment.

  • What is lino printing?

Lino printing is a form of relief block printing. We use tools to carve our design into a piece of linoleum. We then roll ink onto our piece of lino and anything that is not carved will catch the ink to create a print, anything you have carved will remain white. Essentially, we are making our own handmade re-usable stamps!
