Linocut Printmaking: Designing Forest Houses

Designing Forest Houses | Beginner Linocut Workshop | This workshop is suitable for people aged 14+
In this hands-on workshop you will learn how to design, carve and print a lino block. Working with the theme of 'Designing Forest Houses', you are invited to think outside the box and create imagery inspired by forest architecture; this could be a cabin, shelter or an imaginary space within the Australian landscape. You are welcome to design imagery on the day or bring sketches and reference images to class. You will take home a set of tools, two lino blocks and a collection of prints. This workshop is solvent free and eco-aware. All printmaking materials included.
Please bring along the following items:
- Reusable gloves
- Apron
- Folder or folio to take your prints home in
- Snacks/Lunch
Studio 20 is located at the Aldinga Central Shopping Centre. There is free car parking available.
We will take a brief lunch break, please bring something along or there is a Coles supermarket and local takeaway shops nearby.
