Linocut Workshop

This linocut workshop guides you through the basics steps to design, carve and print a lino stamp. Let’s experiment with print layering, colour and collage.

You can bring along your own drawing, images or ideas to inform your artwork, or get inspired by the resources provided.

Great for all skill levels - guidance for beginners and freedom for those familiar with printmaking.



Folks can choose to play with some of my handmade stamps, alphabet stamps, a range of paper and textiles, to create art, a mini-zine, or their own embroidery pattern.

Adult group (16+) as we'll be using sharp tools.
Refreshments provided. Kitchen with tea making facilities.
Free inclusion resources including pronoun badges.

Held at One Arts Gallery, Surfers Paradise.
Calm space with low-lighting and chill tunes.

About the facilitator...
Lucent Flow (they/them) is a kind-punk artist and group facilitator, playing with printmaking and recycled materials. They create to get curious, deconstruct and reassemble, usually leaving works somewhat unfinished.
