Lions Community Festival & Market 2022

We're back! After 2 years of disappointment, Taylors Lakes Lions 5th Annual Community Festival & Market Day, featuring community displays, cultural performances, market stalls, entertainment, food vans and lots of fun!

Our Community Festival & Market Day is first and foremost a day of getting the community together, but also has, as one of its goals, the aim of raising funds for a charities or projects. All stallholder fees go directly to the charities or projects we carefully select, based on our identified priorities. 

This year we raise funds for a special charity, to be announced soon, as well as our projects! All funds raised by the club on the day will go towards our charity of choice, as well as the work we do. 

Taylors Lakes Lions are committed to serving the community with strength and purpose and we have a range of current focuses and projects:

• Direct donations to Lions Foundations including (but not limited to) Childhood Cancer Research, Drug Awareness, Australian Lions Foundation emergency funds, Prostate Cancer, childhood mobility, Skin Check and Awareness Unit (V Districts Cancer Foundation)
• Donations to other charities deemed worthy by the Board
• Handbags for women in critical need, stocked with health and hygiene products
• Adopt a Park (section of Taylors Creek Linear Park) and other environmental projects
• Community Garden for Taylors Lakes
• Junior Public Speaking program
• Primary School Civics and Citizenship awards
• Community Grants, for a range of needs and priorities
• And more!

*** PARTY PLAN REPS and FOOD VAN providers are asked to contact the organiser BEFORE making a booking, as we can only have one of each representative enterprise and need to ensure a broad range of food types. Failing to do so may lead to a refund and cancellation of your booking. ***
