Meet Lipwurrunga (Les Huddleston) at the launch of his exhibition at Murnong Gallery. Lipwurrunga will speak about his art and treat us to didgeridoo performance.
Lipwurrunga is an Australian Indigenous painter, carver and Didgeridoo player from Roper River, East Arnhem Land. His work explores themes of land and water, identity and healing.
An acclaimed artist and cultural contributor, Les has performed at opening ceremonies for international sporting events. One of his iconic artworks was hung alongside the National Apology to Australia's Indigenous people, located in Sydney.
Light refreshments will be provided. Artwork is available to purchase.
