Liquid Lyrics, Sunshine Coast's most wordy, worldly and worthy spoken word event is back again for another another incredible evening of spoke word, poetry, music and community connection.

Join us for an electrifying evening of spoken word at the Liquid Lyrics Poetry Slam, it's our 5th Birthday so it makes sense to make the theme Celebration
Its time to party!
This is going to be a big one, there will be surprises, door prizes for best dressed, art stalls, food and chai and hey, its a party so there will most likely be cake!
Celebration is such an important aspect of the human experience. It's where we get to gather with our people in a space of joy and excitement. It's a time to express gratitude for our achievements, big or small. It's a time to reflect and to embrace the wild side of our nature.
Calling all poets, singers, rappers and story tellers, come share your gifts for the chance to win cash prizes and a spot in the end of year final by telling us;

VanderaA
Vanderaa is a music duo composed of Australian brothers Aaron and Levi VanderAa, known for creating high-vibe rock, soul, and pop music. Their commitment to building meaningful relationships is at the core of everything they do, from their connection to music and the environment to their involvement in the community. Growing up in Darwin provided a rich foundation for their musical careers, and they continue to draw inspiration from their upbringing.
From humble beginnings busking the streets of the Northern Territory, VanderAa have expanded to performing at renowned events such as Splendour in the Grass, Falls Festival, Berlin Travel Festival, Burning Man as well as headlining festivals in Italy. However, their embodiment of Vanlife - living a global life on the road - was brought to a halt when international borders closed following the 2019 pandemic.
There will be curry, chai and bliss balls available for purchase on the night.
