Liquid Lyrics, Sunshine Coast's most wordy, worldly and worthy spoken word event is heading to the Gold Coast!
This event has been running for 5 years and after many requests to bring this event south, we have answered the call.
Theme "Empowered "
Join us for an electrifying evening of spoken word at the Liquid Lyrics Poetry Slam, the theme for this month is "Empowered"
Its time to channel that inner fire and strength, time to express to the World that your voice matters.
As we gather here tonight, we recognize that empowerment comes in many forms. It can be the feeling of strength and confidence that comes from standing up for oneself or for others. It can be the knowledge that we have the ability to make a positive impact in the world. It can be the courage to embrace our individuality and to speak our truth.
So mark your calendars and come join us for an unforgettable night of poetry, as we celebrate the healing power of expression through spoken word. Don't miss your chance to participate in this meaningful event and share your voice with the world.

Tayla-Lee
From the beautiful sunshine state Queensland, Australia; Tayla-Lee is a Singer, Song Writer, Musician and Recording Artist.
Tayla-Lee found her love for music at an early age, which quickly turned into her passion of performing and sharing music. Tayla-Lee’s talents expanded at the age of 12 after receiving her first guitar and spending any spare time self-teaching the art of singing and playing.
Many artists inspire Tayla-Lee to create her own sound, from Angus and Julia Stone, Prince to Stevie Nicks, Leon Bridges, Xavier Rudd and Jack Johnson. You will enjoy the sounds of the acoustic and melodic harmonies, immersed with beautiful native rhythms.
Since forming her own sound, Tayla-Lee has performed in venues and at festivals around Australia including Brisbane, Gold Coast, Melbourne and Sydney. Most notably, Tayla-Lee supported Zebulen in Melbourne for his single release of “Again” and Jacob Lee in the famous Q1 on the Gold Coast. In late 2019, Tayla-Lee took the road on her first tour from Gold Coast to Melbourne, stopping to perform at 9 towns and cities.
Her independently released single “US United Souls” with feature artist Paula Vi which has become an anthem for social issues against Sexual Violence and Discrimination.
Tayla-Lee is currently working on new music which she is looking forward to release music inspired by nature, love and freedom.
With sounds like Stevie Nicks, Tayla-Lee’s soulful sound and raw lyrics are a combination the world is waiting to hear more of.
