Liquid Lyrics, Sunshine Coast's most wordy, worldly and worthy spoken word event is back again for another year of expression, community and lets be honest, non one really knows what else.

Theme "Heart and Fire"

When we are all heart, we become a puddle of desire with no fire. We can become complacent, stagnant and inactive, keeping our dreams locked away never to materialise into form.

When we are all fire, we act with selfish unintegrated passions and desires with little consideration for others, burning people and bridges along the way.

When we come into a balance of heart and fire we can ignite our purpose and passions with conscious awareness, helping to elevate not only ourselves, but all those around us.

We are blessed to have him perform with us as part of his East Coast "Heart and Fire" Tour

A dynamic and seasoned performer, Phil Barlow shares a unique fusion of heart and fire with his wholesome roots rock. He's a true wordsmith, who crafts deep, insightful lyrics into powerful vocal melodies and guitar rhythms.

“Phil matches a high energy performance with infectious grooves and a sense of honesty and conviction in his style that ensures we will be hearing his name a lot more in the coming years” Lloyd Spiegel.

He has just launched his 4th studio album, a high vibe, roots rock album called 'Break Free', and is now preparing to tour Australia’s East Coast in March & April 2023.

There will be curry and chai available for purchase on the night.
