About LiteHaus International:
LiteHaus International is a Queensland-based NGO which exists to tackle digital inequality and bridge the digital divide across Asia-Pacific. A quality education can only be digital in today's world, yet this is not the reality for millions of students across the region. Founded in a Townsville garage by Jack Growden, a 26-year-old Queenslander, LiteHaus International has enriched the lives of 203,000 people in need with digital learning tools and opportunities across Australia, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Samoa, Solomon Islands, and Fiji. To achieve this, we have repurposed 11,000 end-of-life digital devices from across the corporate and education sectors in Australia. We have made over a million hours of digital usage possible through our work.
By 2027, our goal is to digitise a million dreams across the Asia-Pacific region, empowering one million people with digital learning tools and opportunities to realise their dreams. Digital equality and empowerment for a million people. A million dreams.
