Curly hair was never the problem. No one was ever taught how to care for it. We want to change that from the very start. Our Kids' Curl Course is a relaxed, hands-on "look & learn" where curly kids (aged 5 to 12) and their parent or carer learn exactly how to care for, style and love their curls, together.

- What age is this course for?
Curly, wavy and afro-textured kids aged 5 to 12. Each child attends with a parent or carer who learns alongside them.
- Do I need to stay with my child?
Yes! This is a "look & learn" for you both. One parent or carer attends free with each child and learns the full routine, so you can keep it up at home.
- I have more than one curly kid. Can I bring them both?
Absolutely, we'd love to have them. Each child needs their own ticket, and one parent or carer can attend free with each.
- What will my child and I learn?
How to gently detangle, wash, style and dry their curls, plus how to keep them looking gorgeous all week. Most importantly, they'll leave knowing their hair is beautiful exactly as it is.
- What's included in the ticket?
3 hours of hands-on learning with Tash and the Curl Lab team, a small group (max 10 children), and a goodie bag with Curl Edit samples to take home.
- Will their hair get wet or cut?
There are no cuts in this session. It's all about learning to care for and style curls, so there may be a little spritzing and product, but nothing dramatic.
- Where is it held?
At our brand new salon, The Curl Lab, C1/415 Illawarra Road, Marrickville NSW 2204.
- Can I bring a snack?
Yes, feel free to bring a water bottle and a small snack for your little one.
- What's your cancellation policy?
Tickets are non-refundable but are transferable, so if you can't make it you're welcome to pass your spot to a friend.
