A play based program for children from 2-5 years to engage with the garden and nature play activities!
Welcome to Little Green Thumbs, an engaging play-based program designed specifically for children aged 2 to 5 years old, fostering a connection with the way food is grown and the wonders of nature.
Through hands-on experiences, toddlers and preschoolers are encouraged to explore the magic of planting seeds, tending to our community garden, and understanding how food is grown. The joy of exploration and creativity comes alive as toddlers and preschoolers delve into both the art of gardening and nature crafts.
What to bring:
- Please wear closed shoes
- A hat, water bottle & sunscreen
- Snacks for before or after the session
Parking:
Free onsite parking. Take the turn off from Mt Samson Rd, into Green Thumb Farm. Take the first turn to the left which leads you past a little red building and there you will see the parking area.
This program is supported by the City of Moreton Bay as part of their Healthy and Active Program.
Although the program is free - registration is essential.
