Description

🧸 A Family High Tea & Stuffie Celebration 🧸

Join us for A LITTLE High Tea, a relaxed, inclusive and family-friendly community event created especially for children and their families.

Held at Logan Gardens Parklands on Saturday 19 September 2026, from 11:00am–2:00pm, this isn’t your traditional high tea. We’re taking high tea outdoors with picnic blankets, favourite stuffies, beautiful food, creative activities, entertainment and plenty of opportunities for families to simply enjoy the day together.

Children are invited to bring their favourite stuffie or squishy, dress in an outfit they love, and get ready for our very special Stuffie Parade!

Throughout the day, families can enjoy face painting, balloon creations, animal rides, family-friendly games, arts and crafts, and our Make Your Own Parade Hat activity before joining in the Stuffie Parade.

Choose the experience that suits your family

We want families to be able to participate regardless of their budget or family size, so there are four ticket options, as well as the ability to add Additional Guests to selected bookings.

  • Our free BYO option means families can bring their own picnic blanket, food and refreshments while still joining in the activities and entertainment. Registration is still required so we can safely plan for attendance.

  • For families wanting the full high-tea experience, our catered ticket options provide different packages depending on the number of adults and children attending. Additional Guest tickets are also available, making it easier for grandparents, siblings, carers, support workers or other important people to come along too.

Accessibility matters ♿

A LITTLE High Tea is designed to be welcoming to children and families with different accessibility needs.

An Accessible Table option will be available when booking for guests who require a table rather than picnic-style ground seating. These spaces are intended to provide a more comfortable and practical setup for wheelchair users and guests who may find sitting on the ground difficult.

We want families to be able to tell us about their accessibility requirements when registering so we can prepare the space appropriately.

What to expect on the day

Think less formal high tea and more magical family picnic.

There’ll be food, laughter, creativity and plenty happening, but families can participate at their own pace. Children can get their face painted, grab a balloon, enjoy an animal ride, make their parade hat, join the games or simply hang out with their favourite stuffie until parade time.

Then we'll bring everyone together for our Stuffie Parade, where children can proudly show off their outfits, handmade parade hats and, most importantly, their favourite little companion.

Bring your family. Bring your picnic blanket. Bring your favourite stuffie.

Come dressed up, come casual, come for the catered high tea or pack your own picnic

A LITTLE High Tea is about spending a beautiful day together and being part of the community.

FAQs

  • Is A LITTLE High Tea suitable for all ages?

Yes! A LITTLE High Tea is a family-friendly event designed for children and their families. Activities are primarily aimed at children, but parents, carers, grandparents, siblings and other family members are very welcome.

  • Do I need a ticket if I choose the free BYO option?

Yes. The BYO Picnic option is completely free, but you still need to register for a ticket. This helps us manage attendance numbers and plan activities for the day.

  • What does the BYO Picnic ticket include?

BYO families bring their own picnic blanket, food and refreshments. Your children can still participate in some of the event activities and entertainment on the day. Face Painting is $10 per person. Animal Ride-a-longs are $10 per child. Parade Hat & Stuffie Parade & Family games are included.

  • What is included with the paid High Tea tickets?

Paid ticket options include a catered high tea experience and reserved seating for the number of guests included in your chosen package, along with full access to all the event activities and entertainment.

  • Can I add another person to my booking?

Yes. An Additional Guest ticket can be added to a catered booking if you would like to bring an extra family member, carer, support worker or other guest.

  • Is there wheelchair-accessible seating?

Yes. We will have an Accessible Table option available for guests who use a wheelchair or require table-and-chair seating rather than our picnic-style floor seating. Please select the accessible option when booking so we can prepare an appropriate space for you.

  • What if my child has additional accessibility or support needs?

We want A LITTLE High Tea to be as welcoming and inclusive as possible. Please provide relevant accessibility requirements when booking so our team can consider how we can best support your family's participation on the day. We will have a full team of support workers on the day to assist if needed.

  • What activities will be available?

We’re planning a fun-filled afternoon including face painting, balloons, animal rides, family-oriented games, arts and crafts, Make Your Own Parade Hat activities and our Stuffie Parade.

  • Does my child need to bring a stuffie?

No, but we definitely encourage it! Children are invited to bring their favourite stuffed toy, teddy, squishy or special little friend to enjoy the day and join our Stuffie Parade.

  • What is the Stuffie Parade?

It’s a fun parade where children can show off their favourite stuffie and the parade hat they’ve created during the event. It’s about having fun and joining in — there’s no need for anything fancy!

  • Does my child have to participate in the activities?

Not at all. Children can participate as much or as little as they feel comfortable. There is no expectation to join every activity.

  • What should we bring?

BYO ticket holders should bring a picnic blanket, their own food and drinks and anything else their family needs for the afternoon. We also recommend bringing hats, sunscreen and water. And, of course, don’t forget your favourite stuffie!

  • Can we bring our own food if we have a paid ticket?

Yes. Families are welcome to bring additional food or drinks they may need, particularly where a child has specific preferences or dietary requirements.

  • Can you cater for allergies or dietary requirements?

As this is a catered community event, we cannot guarantee an entirely allergen-free environment, therefore at this time we cannot cater for dietary requirements at this stage. We do recommend our BYO option if this is more suitable.

  • Can grandparents or extended family attend?

Absolutely! This is a family event and we would love to see grandparents and extended family involved. Choose the ticket package that best suits your group and use the Additional Guest option where required.

  • Can a support worker or carer attend with a participant?

Yes. Support workers and carers are welcome. Please make sure everyone attending is included in the booking so we have accurate attendance numbers.

  • Where is the event being held?

A LITTLE High Tea will be held at Logan Gardens Parklands on Saturday 19 September 2026 from 11:00am–2:00pm.

  • What happens if it rains or there is severe weather?

As this is an outdoor event, weather conditions may affect the event. Registered attendees will be provided with information if plans need to change due to unsafe weather conditions.

  • Do I need to stay with my child?

Yes. This is a family event rather than a child-minding or respite service. Parents, guardians or responsible adults must remain responsible for and supervise children in their care throughout the event.

  • Will photos be taken at the event?

Event photography may take place during the day. Families will be provided with information about photography and consent, and children should not be photographed for promotional purposes without the appropriate consent.

  • Is there a place to take nice photos?

Yes we will have a lovely flower wall with a nice chair to have family photos' taken. We can use your own phone to take photos' on the day, so you have a picture straight away!
