Little House Workshop

Create a personalized miniature little house with artist Leanne Gardener.

In this hands-on and fun workshop, you will be guided step by step through the process of constructing your own miniature house, with inspirational and practical tips provided to help you personalize their unique creation.
At the end of the session you will take home a completed little house, having learnt how to now create a whole miniature village.

About the facilitator

Leanne loves to blend different disciplines to create her art, and being a mixed media artist gives her great freedom and flexibility. She is self-taught and has completed several residential workshops over the past seven years, working with a variety of artists from around the world.
This has given Leanne a broad range of skills, which she now incorporates into her art. 

Leanne is drawn to working small with repurposed materials, especially textiles, fibre, paper and stitch. The colour palette used across much of her work is often similar, however Leanne's pieces are diverse, as she loves exploring new mediums and ideas. Creating is Leanne's happy place and being able to encourage people to explore their own creativity is a wonderful thing.

What you need to know

• Suitable for anyone with the patience to work small-scale. No previous experience required. 15 years and older.
• Requires working with hammers, scissors and other similar tools.

• Tea and coffee provided.
