Event description
Little LEGO Learners – A FIRST LEGO League Discover Program
Tuesdays | 10:30am–12:30pm | The Makers Technology & Innovation Hub, Burnie
Starting 20 May 2025
About the Program:
Little LEGO Learners is an exciting free weekly STEM program designed for young children aged 4–6 years and their families. Based on the internationally recognised FIRST LEGO League Discover framework, children will explore science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics (STEAM) concepts through hands-on building, storytelling, and playful discovery.
Each week, children and their families will work together using the LEGO DUPLO STEAM Park to build simple machines, create imaginative models, and bring big ideas to life.
The program is designed by FIRST, the global leader in STEM engagement and robotics education, which has been inspiring millions of young people around the world for over 35 years to explore, create, and innovate.
Sessions are facilitated by professional early childhood educators, ensuring that activities are developmentally appropriate, engaging, and deeply supportive of young learners’ growth and creativity.
