Event description

Following our first interstate visit to Hobart during Dark Mofo, we are hosting a special little music party in Sydney to mark our 3rd birthday!

Lineup:

Bike Thief
(Live)

Bike Thief is a three-piece percussive unit: music for the dancefloor, created on drums, prepared double-bass and keyboard samplers.

Fast becoming one of Sydney's hottest underground acts, Bike Thief synthesises electronic and acoustic sounds, pulling in references from strains of bass and club music and filtering them through the trio’s unique instrumentation.

Morphlink

A true tastemaker, Morphlink is one of the most celebrated DJs in Hobart. Her diverse style has resulted in support slots for a range of acts including Sherelle, Bashkka, Moopie, Kia and Madam X, as well as festival appearances at Dark Mofo and Party In The Paddock.

salllvage
(Live)

salllvage (Rowan Savage) is a proud Kombumerri man, living on Wangal Land. He is an experimental producer and DJ working at the intersection of queer club culture and connection with Country.

His work mutates on-Country field recordings into electronica and inhabits and bridges the tensions between abstraction and emotion, the wild bush and the dancefloor, the personal and the social, authenticity and reconstruction.

Over the past 12 months, salllvage has performed at Soft Centre (VIC), Boiler Room, Chinese Laundry, Miscellania (VIC) and Art Gallery of NSW.

Szem
(Live)

Szem is the left-field electronic project of visual and sound artist Laura Hunt; Szem means the eye, Szem is all the ways in which we see; through our body, through our third eye, through our memory, through each other.

Combining hardware and electronic sampling, percussive sculptures, cut-up vocals and poetry, Hunt seeks to decode and conjure the unseen, beckoning us in to her ethereal world.

Postponez

Over summer little music party co-organiser Postponez played multiple sets at Lost Paradise, warmed up for Jennifer Cardini in Auckland during a family holiday and performed an ambient set at MONA.

This is a limited capacity venue so we recommend purchasing a presale. Every ticket sold also contributes to the sustainability of our brand, so we can continue hosting events and supporting incredible local artists. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of our journey so far. It has been a dream come true!

We offer complimentary entry for First Nations people. Please email postponez.mgmt@gmail.com. We recognise that this event is being held on stolen land and wish to acknowledge the traditional custodians, the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation. We pay respect to elders past, present and emerging.
