Live Action Role Play- The West
Event description
A live action role-playing game (LARP) is a form of role playing game where the participants physically portray the character. The players, while in character, pursue goals within a fictional setting represented by real-world environments. The outcome of player actions may be mediated by game rules or determined by consensus among players. The Gamemaster decides the setting and rules to used and facilitate play.
Here is our historic adventure:
Many times in the west, as people prospered they would ship high quality items from the east coast as they strove to improve their quality of life. These finer things were sought after luxuries, such as jewelry , clothing, spices, paintings, sculptures, among other enviable treasures. This is one such time, as a shipment of art from the east coast has been sent in and an auction is being held at the local saloon. A variety of people are meeting up each with their own hopes, dreams and agendas.Â
You’ll play as lawmen, criminals, honest women, dishonest men, rebellious strong gunslingers of all genders, ladies of the evening, and so much more. In our saloon you can count on drinks, cards, and many other distractions, but you have your own problems. Can you solve them and come out alive?
Players will receive one themed drink and a pre-generated character. Costumes are encouraged but not required.Â
