Live & Local: Clean Waves Edition ft. Caravana Sun

We’ve got a very special edition of Live & Local on the cards for you this October. Head down to Gage Roads Freo as we shake off winter and come together for a bloody good cause. A local line up, with the addition of internationally renowned super stars Caravãna Sun, will be up on the big stage to help us raise funds for our mates at the Australian Marine Debris Initiative.

The Australian Marine Debris Initiative (AMDI), is an on-ground network of volunteers who help communities look after their coastal environment by providing resources and support programs, and collaborates with industry and government to create change on a large scale.

To support the cause and in a double dose celebration, we’ll be launching our spring limited release brew, with $1 from every pint sold on the night going to AMDI.

We’ll also be running raffles across the night where you can take out a prize packed with local goodies, with all money raised going straight to AMDI. A great way to get behind a good cause. Look for our crew making the rounds with raffle buckets and at the Merch Corner. Eftpos payment option will be available.

Caravãna Sun has a sound that demands to be heard live, described as “the most explosive performance ever witnessed” by LOST Magazine. From sun-drenched reggae to sweeping synthindie groove, these guys will have you slapping on your dancing shoes.

Supported by two equally epic local acts, Joan and the Giants and Angie Coleman, it’s safe to say this Live & Local with a twist, is going to be one not to miss.

All ages welcome, but as usual, anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, you know the rules.
