Event description

The fifth edition of the Live at the Antlers series presented in conjunction with our friends at WinterWonderGrass. The folks from WinterWonderGrass have paved the way for events like these and we are thrilled to continue to add the legacy of Yampa and The Antlers Cafe and Bar with this "AfterGrass" event.

When we come together with open hearts and minds, bringing our differences and unique opinions, we begin to dissolve the illusion of separation. We intend to create a platform for artists, attendees, our families, and the natural environment to unite – building a community. - Scotty Stoughton

The event will take place on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 7pm. Admission is $225 and includes entertainment, food, beverage (both alcohol or non-alcoholic dinner pairings), and the opportunity to be at this very special recording of Live at the Antlers with Billy Failing. A cash bar will be available beyond our menu pairings.

There will be a pre-sale opportunity for guests who took a leap of faith and previously attended any of our other "Live at The Antlers" events and we will be sending an email out to those guests with an access code to purchase tickets early. General public tickets will go on sale five days after the presale is released. Please reach out to Anthony at ant@franciosibros.com or Séan at otpsean@gmail.com with any questions, we will do our best to answer your questions right away. We do believe this event will reach capacity, and will not be able to add more seats if and when that time arrives.

"Live at The Antler's" is not only a special event, but has evolved into a special series that will forever live on. We are bringing something new to the table and beyond, join us for an evening that will satisfy all the senses a human can enjoy with a fine menu, incredible music, and a wonderful atmosphere.

We can't wait to host Billy Failing as so many of us have seen him perform live with Billy Strings for years and we sure are humbled to have him in our little corner of heaven. Dining you ask? You know it, Chef Chris "Hippie" Vargoshe is commanding our kitchen along with our amazing in-house staff, offering a top-notch coursed meal that is sure to please the palette and the soul simultaneously. Chris is a friend of the family and proprietor of local company Elevated Cuisine. As a consultant to our family of restaurants and owner of his own private chef business, Chef Chris as my son Joey calls him, is an artist in his own right and the perfect Chef for "Live at the Antlers".

My good friend and owner of Old Town Pub, Séan Regan, also plays a pivotal role here. Séan has been bringing quality entertainment to Steamboat for many years and his desire to offer a fun and comfortable experience helps us achieve this goal.

The event will be recorded live and mixed by none other Dan Long. Dan was the long time sound engineer for OTP, Strings Music Pavilion, Beaver Creek's The Vilar, and Franciosi Bros. More recently Dan is the touring front of house engineer for Leftover Salmon.

Rounding out this crew of magicians is the proprietor of The Antlers who has opened his doors for me and all of you, Tim Kirkpatrick. Without TK’s desire to see a revival of the quaint and amazing town of Yampa, this event surely would not be finding fruition, I am grateful for his hard work and opportunity he offers this team, and above all this community.

We are surely in the right hands to offer a primo experience, from top to bottom, and we are excited to host this new series “Live at The Antlers”. Thank you for being a part of this crazy idea, let’s have a good time with it. Below is the menu from a previous Live at the Antlers, it will offer an ideas of the flavors Hippie puts together! A new menu experience from Elevated Cuisine will be served featuring local producers! Check out this video from the Vince Herman episode, it was one for the ages and it is easy to say that Vince loved the food, the people, and the vibe!
