Rustic Country Duet:
Timika King (Meekatharra) and Barry Taylor (Pilbara)
Timika King is a Meekatharra born and bred music artist, ukulele and guitar, with a strong history in community development. Her cousin Barry is a guitarist and DJ and together they're touring WA, presenting and performing as the Rustic Country Duet.
Brett Wilson:
Margaret River based singer song writer Brett Wilson has spent the last 28 years writing songs with a strong sense of social justice and place.
Never one to repeat himself he plays his uplifting folk, reggae, gypsy grooves with an evocative Dylanesque delivery.
Brett lives and writes his music in a little shack - a converted dairy on farm on Cave‘s road. When he’s not strumming his guitar for his bovine neighbours he‘s either surfing or fronting his gypsy ska band Freeway South.
This August he is traveling up north WA carrying his dream of sharing his music to the kids in rural communities, catch his sets along the coast, let nothing stop the music!
