Kia Ora!

We are so excited that you have registered for LIVE Camp 2025!!!! We have at least 8 different churches across the Auckland region coming (and a cheeky Christchurch crew!).

This is one of a few emails with some key information for the lead up and for the camp itself:

PAYMENT
If you haven’t paid the full amount for camp, please ensure you do so before Thursday 2nd October 7pm to ensure your child can come on camp.

Our online banking details are:

Name: Vineyard Churches Aotearoa

Account Number: 03-0252-0427086-000

Please clearly label LIVE Camp with your surname.

If you need sponsorship or would like to help sponsor someone to come, please email ben.macgregor@grace.org.nz.

START/FINISH OF CAMP

The address for the Camp is Houghton’s Bush Camp (75 Motutara Road, Muriwai).

Dinner will NOT be provided for on the first night, therefore ensure they have eaten beforehand. Please ensure kids are there at 6pm on Friday 10th October..

Please be there by 1pm to pick up your kids on Sunday 12th October, otherwise we may have to charge for overstaying. We have some kids from our Christchurch camp still waiting for parents to pick them up (this is a joke!)

CABIN ALLOCATIONS
We will be placing majority of kids in their own church groups, and if there’s extras we will make sure they are with someone they know. We are all one whānau, so we would love all kids to be mindful and include others. Let’s show Jesus to each other in the way we love!

LIVE CAMP WORSHIP

We feel so honoured to have such an epic band join us for LIVE Camp as we worship our King!

Below is a Spotify playlist you can listen to in the lead up for the songs we may be doing:

https://open.spotify.com/playlist/4VcfyqXEpRzRTNznEtfnLb?si=VTcMHSo_SderqhbtLOJsDw&pi=a-Gvg6k-G8TT2Z

We also have our own NEW Worship song coming written for this event….watch this space!

BAKING
We have the amazing cooks at Coast Vineyard catering for us. But would love help with Supper and Break Times…If you have time and are keen to bake for camp, it would greatly appreciated – thank you! If you do, please make sure you clearly label your containers so that we can give them to you at the end of camp. Also please just label if they are gluten free/dairy free/ nut free etc. I’m going to put on 10kg from this camp!

LIVE Camp’s Got Talent
On the Saturday afternoon, we are doing “LIVE Camp’s Got Talent”, so if your child would like to bring any instruments, gear etc, they are welcome too! There’s a $50 prize up for grabs! I’ve got my triangle ready :)

Other Information
If you need anything or have any concerns, questions, or need to get hold of me or your child on camp, please feel free to call at any time (I’ll try not to be too deep a sleeper!)

My cell number is 022 313 2720. Or contact us anytime during camp by email at ben.macgregor@grace.org.nz or through facebook messenger (we'll have wifi out there).

MOST IMPORTANT
Lastly would you join us in prayer! Pray for safety, protection from sickness, no accidents and for good weather but most of all...
We are praying for you and your wonderful kids as they prepare for camp. We pray that they will encounter Jesus and have life transformation that not only changes their world, but the world around them. We love them so much! Get ready for a generation knowing who they are in Jesus and to find their PURPOSE in Him!!
It is such a privilege to serve your kids!

Arohanui,
Ben MacGregor, and the LIVE Camp Team :)
