Live Music at Windy Station feat EJ Worland and Brook St
Event description
This summer, we are so excited to bring some sultry tunes to the Windy Station Woolshed for an intimate afternoon of live music. In line with the Tamworth Country Music Festival and the Liverpool Plains Sunflower Trail, this is the perfect time to visit our region!
Headline act and fellow Aussie, EJ Worland will be hitting the road this summer and bringing an exclusive, intimate acoustic performance to back yards up and down the east coast of Australia and we have asked him to play in ours! After captivating crowds at the New Orleans Jazz Festival and sharing the stages with artists like Teddy Swimms, Vulfpeck, Allen Stone and Donavon Frankenreiter, EJ is ready to bring his soulful sound and storytelling back to Australia and to the Liverpool Plains!
Support act, Brook Street made up of husband and wife duo, Jason Daniels and Hannah Oliver are coming back to play at the Tamworth Country Music Festival and we are thrilled they are taking some time out of their busy festival gig calendar to play for us! After releasing their first EP they hit the road opening for a string of indie folk artists including The Dreggs, Blanco White, Tay Oskee, Austin Mackay and Fanny Lumsden and have recently played shows throughout Australia and Europe.
This will be the only opportunity to visit the Windy Station Woolshed during January so make an afternoon of it! Bring your friends, your family, even the kids!
A BBQ dinner will be available to purchase on the night, bring your own drinks and picnic rug.
Access
At Windy Station, we are doing our best to support any access requirements as part of the restoration. Access into the Woolshed is wheelchair suitable, however, there is some uneven ground and low lighting that needs to be considered. At this stage, we do not have accessible bathrooms at the site
