JB Paterson is a critically acclaimed folk musician from Cedar Creek, QLD, Australia. Compared to greats like Neil Young, Bob Dylan, and Townes Van Zandt, he has forged a highly DIY career, running his own off-grid studio in the countryside of Greater Brisbane. With three albums under his belt, and also receiving heavy rotation on Australian radio stations, his upcoming fourth album is highly anticipated.
Paterson has shared the stage with notable acts like Mark Lanegan, Steve Kilbey (The Church), Darren Hanlon, Jade Bird, Gabriella Cohen, and The Audreys. Known for his highly entertaining live shows, he's also played major festivals such as Woodford Folk Festival, Tamworth Country Music Festival, and Dashville Skyline. Currently working on his fourth album and touring Australia in 2024, this roving folk artist continues to captivate audiences with his equally tasteful and independent approach to music.
