Coming together from Gadigal, Darkingjung, Guringai and Dharug Countries in NSW Sydney/Central Coast region, G I JANE is an All Women Original, Post Modern Politico Pop Punk Rock Blues Band! Comprising of 5 STRONG WOMEN each with their own story to tell, G I JANE is Jane Taylor on Guitar and Vocals, Mabel Clarke on Guitar and Vocals, Samantha Cookson on Bass and Vocals, Natasha Christalia on Drums and Percussion and Anita Pulie on Keys, Flute, Melodica and Vocals. G I JANE weaves their unique talents together in a truly original, eclectic musical creation. No topic is off limit, from politics to the environment to motherhood, all with passion and often a dash of humour, irony and cheek! With individual backgrounds from different musical life experiences, G I JANE plays and blends music genres in a way that inspires and surprises.

Hot Mess

Hot Mess is a three-piece womyn’s punk band from the Bellinger river, Bindarray Yurruun, on Gumbaynggirr Country on the mid-North coast of NSW. They are Cole Flett (vocals, guitar), Jo Ware (vocals, drums) and Sarah Wright (vocals, bass) and we play original feminist, punk rock. We have a lot to say and we reckon that an old school, womyn’s punk rock band is the perfect way to say it, loudly!
