Rufino finally returns to the coast to launch a new sensational single Cat Business. With the full 8-piece band in tow, Rufino and crew will have you sliding out of the shadows, sauntering onto the floor, to make swoon and make you move - in their greatest and most entertaining incarnation yet – Rufino and the Wreckage!
A slinky piece of urban feline noir, the new single Cat Business has instant Rufino classic written all over it. Moody, psychological, groovy and destined to seep deep into your subconscious – in the most wonderful way! You’ll never see the neighbourhood puss-puss the same way again...
The band of castaways, troubled geniuses and misfits in the rhythm-rich jungles, who form Rufino and The Coconuts recall Serge Gainsbourg’s tropical recordings, Grace Jones’ theatrical Caribbean groove and the primal stomp of The Birthday Party. It’s the type of cultural melting pot beloved by cannibals as a morning soup.
