Live Q & A with Lipoedema Patient Tiana

Dr Chris Lekich and The Walk with Freedom team are excited to be a part of Social Media Takeovers in 2024! For each #TakeoverTuesday one of our very own patients will takeover posting to the @walkwithfreedom Facebook and Instagram pages, ending the day with a 45 minute live Q & A session, answering any questions you may like to ask.

Our patient host for this #TakeoverTuesday is Tiana Tischler, an executive manager from Brisbane and mum of 2 (with another on the way!) Tiana was diagnosed with stage 2 Lipoedema and secondary Lymphoedema by Dr Nicholas Teo in early 2023, and has since undergone 2 x Lipoedema-extraction surgeries with Dr Teo. Tiana shares her story to help raise awareness of Lipoedema, "I want to see all Lipoedema ladies enjoying the life they deserve to live" Tiana says. She hopes the more awareness is raised about Lipoedema, the less women will be walking around uncomfortable and in pain, without knowing that there’s something they can do about it.
This interactive Q & A Session will begin at 7pm AEST (Gold Coast time) and run for approximately 45 minutes. You can confirm the start time in your local timezone here.
