Event description

JOIN the river-caring Darangarra Bushcare Group for a fun workshop restoring a natural side-stream. 

The Bogalara Creek in Old Toongabbie is being green-engineered to stabilise erosion from urban runoff, over 25 years.

This special pocket of endangered River-flat Eucalyptus Forest is in the historic colonial Government Farm area.

The event involves a site tour, tree and sedge planting of the creek-bank, easy hand-weeding and habitat discussion. 

You'll be surprised what is being achieved so far. 

PLEASE - wear long-sleeves and trousers, hat and sturdy shoes. Suitable for Adults.

PROVIDED - Gloves, Tools and resources.
