LIVENESS
Description
Presented by Lucy Guerin Inc, LIVENESS is an exciting new program for the Melbourne dance community and dance audiences to come together and experience improvisational movement in a relaxed and generous environment.
Rebecca Jensen and Leah Landau will guide a 'tuning in' for participating dancers, providing structure for a studio exploration to transform into an improvised performance.
Audiences are invited from 7.30pm to observe this improvised performance as it unfolds in real time—as dancers respond to provocations, the environment and each other.
Then everyone is invited to stay back for some good social times—with refreshments provided!
The program is open to all dancers to participate, whatever your practice. It's a chance to connect with each other through doing and making choices. Anyone can be an observer.
LIVENESS was created in collaboration with Rebecca Jensen.
