I love being able to create these Nature Nurture Experiences that also allow me to be able to do what I love while being able to help raise funds for an organization and cause that is so close to my heart by supporting the amazing work being done by my wolf family at Apex Protection Project.

I've been creating these events with the Apex Pack for 7 years and during the pandemic when we couldn't do in person events I decided I wanted to bring them to people virtually so we could reach people that might never meet a wolf or have a wolf sanctuary near them in order to be able to share the powerful healing energy of wolves alongside sound healing and reach more people around the globe.

As a Moonologer I love sharing the way we can work with the natural cycles of the Moon for our own self-care alongside practical and energetic tools like sound, meditation, animals and nature. These events help to bring all those elements together for a magical experience you can feel through the computer or phone screen at a soul level.

Pen and Paper or Journal - for moon journaling

Set up a Comfy spot for the sound bath with blankets/pillows and any of your favorite crystals or sacred pieces to energize in the full moon rituals.

WHAT TO BRING AND WEAR

Bring yoga mat, blankets, pillows or a sleeping bag to put on the ground and dress in layers since it can get nippy when the sun goes down in the desert. You will be lying down on the dirt ground in the enclosure so blankets/yoga/mat/sleeping bag and pillows bring with you. We will have a few extra blankets on hand if needed.

Bring a pen and paper or journal

Feel free to bring your crystals you can place on the mandala in front of the sound bath to energize or keep with you.

We will have the firepit going and hot tea and coffee available as well.

Kirsten has been practicing Sound Healing for over 20 years. Her journey into this practice began when she was diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. Kirsten knew intuitively that she had to participate in her own healing when traditional medicine was not working. She began a daily regime of sound healing on her body, guided imagery, body talk, and nature therapy and to the surprise of her own doctor cleared the illness from her body within a few months.

She is a certified Sound Healing Practitioner, Guided Imagery Master from the Hypnosis Motivation Institute, Reiki Practitioner and continues to educate herself on new modalities and implement the latest techniques and sound healing instruments into her work.

In 2018 Kirsten was honored to be the first in her field to be featured at the Roger Neal Academy Awards Gift Suite and Dinner and her customized private session was included in the celebrity gift bags.

Kirsten also facilitates ongoing monthly virtual women’s circles “When women come together and commit to each other to be in a circle they create a sacred space for healing and transformation collectively that can also create change in the world.” She continues her women’s circles monthly now virtually due to Covid which has allowed women from all parts of the U.S. and other countries to gather and connect and partake of beautiful rituals that include open hearted listening and sharing their stories, meditation, journaling, setting intentions and sound healing.

Kirsten has worked with WarnerMedia, CNN, Cartoon Network, Athleta and other companies to facilitate sound baths both onsite and virtually for their staff as part of their corporate wellness week and Covid Wellness Programs to offer self-care mindfulness tools for stress relief and relaxation from the comfort of home.

Kirsten has created an online virtual studio of classes that include Weekly Virtual Sound Baths, Yoga Nidra and Sound, Reiki and Sound, Women’s New Moon and Full Moon Circles Manifesting Circles, Dog Yoga & Sound.

ABOUT APEX PROTECTION PROJECT

Apex Protection Project, a Los Angeles based 501(c)3 non-profit organization, was created in 2015 to save the wolf species through education, rescue and advocacy. Co-Founders Paula Ficara and Steve Wastell are the driving force behind this mission, and their approach to advocacy has been shaped by the unique experiences that lead them to dedicating their lives to this service.

For six-years, Paula and Steve worked closely with captive-born wolves and wolfdogs at a local sanctuary. While volunteering, they discovered the wolf’s gentle nature, intelligence, and vital importance to the ecosystem. This discovery drove them to learn more about the ongoing mass genocide inflicted on wolves by humankind and fueled their desire to see that genocide come to an end.

Steve and Paula’s unique approach evolved naturally out of their careers as actors as well as working in the hospitality industry, bringing a sensitivity, creativity and personal touch to their work. Their success stems from acknowledging the importance of connecting people to wolves on an emotional level, focusing on the humanities, while also sharing biological facts and the importance of the species. “It’s about creating a fully immersive, personal experience that impacts the guests in a way that opens their hearts and creates life-long advocates.” Steve says.
