Living for Today, Planning for Tomorrow
Te Toi Uku - Crown Lynn & Clay Museum
Auckland, New Zealand
Description
Please join us at Te Toi Uku for a kōrero and clay workshop facilitated by artist Chantel Matthews. Chantel is a ceramicist and the curator of Rehu, From the Ashes - a collection of ipu (urns) which are on display inside the Ambrico kiln. Chantel also works for Mercy Hospice as a Kaimahi, helping to care for whānau at the end of their lives.
Through conversation and making with clay, you'll reflect on what gives your life meaning, the people and values that matter to you most, the legacy you hope to leave behind, and how you'd like to be cared for.
Ticket proceeds will be donated to Mercy Hospice.
