Event description

Understanding the ever-present past is important if we are to map our living futures. Explore the industrial origins of The Coal Loader and its fossil-fuelled history with Dr Ian Hoskins.

Tours leave from the top of The Platform ramp. Look for the tour sign and flag. 

This walk and talk is family-friendly and suitable for mixed physical abilities, walking/rolling is involved. 

Please arrive on time as this is a walking tour so will depart from the meeting spot within five minutes of the advertised start.

Recommended for 12+ (younger children can attend however the content is aimed towards older children and adults). 
A ticket-holding adult must accompany all children.

Please wear closed-toed shoes and suitable weather protection.
