Embodied Consent in Action
Description
Living into your Yes introduces you to the Wheel of Consent® an experiential framework for building self-awareness, authentic communication, and relational integrity.
Over two spacious days, you will explore consent as a lived, embodied experience.
Together we’ll slow things down and practice noticing what you really want, what you’re willing to give or want to receive, and where your boundaries are—moment by moment.
Whether this is your first encounter with the Wheel of Consent or you’re returning to deepen your practice, this workshop offers practical ways to bring consent to life.
Choice and body sovereignty are at the heart of this work!
Who is this for?
This non-residential workshop is for anyone curious about deeper self-connection and more satisfying relationships—across intimacy, pleasure, friendship, work, and everyday interactions.
Adults of all bodies, genders and identities are welcome. Come solo, with a partner or friend.
If you’ve ever wondered:
What do I really want here?
How do I honestly communicate what I need?
Why did I say yes when my body was saying no?
Am I asking for too much... or not enough?
this workshop has something for you.
What you will explore and learn?
Through group enquiry and clearly negotiated non-sexual touch activities, you’ll be supported to:
Slow down and notice what genuinely feels good, rather than tolerating what doesn’t
Build confidence expressing desires and limits, and being responsive to those of others
Connect with your true yes and no, and feel the ease, connection and safety this brings to your nervous system
Develop foundational skills for relating while staying connected to your own integrity
Create relational agreements grounded in clarity, mutual joy and alignment
What is the Wheel of Consent®?
The Wheel of Consent was developed by Dr Betty Martin. It is an embodied framework for clarity, choice and empowered interaction in both touch and non-touch dynamics.
By distinguishing “who is doing” and “who it is for,” the Wheel helps untangle common confusion in relating and builds capacity for clear, empowered agreements. This work supports you to notice, trust, and communicate your desires and limits—not just in your head, but through your body.
