Living Latihan

A Three-Week Journey Into Intuition, Consent & Embodied Living

Most of us spend our lives following expectations, routines, and agendas.

But what happens when you begin listening to something deeper?

Living Latihan is a three-evening experiential workshop that explores how the freedom, presence, and intuitive movement discovered in Latihan can become a way of living—not just something practiced in a workshop.

Together, the same group of participants will gather over three consecutive Friday evenings, allowing trust, curiosity, and connection to deepen from week to week.

What is Latihan?

Latihan is a blindfolded, music-guided embodied awareness practice that invites you to quiet the thinking mind and listen more deeply to your body's natural intelligence. Rather than following choreography or trying to "do it right," participants are encouraged to let movement arise organically—from subtle shifts of breath and posture to expansive movement, stillness, emotion, or simple presence.

There is no performance, no expectation, and no right way to experience Latihan. It is a practice of curiosity, surrender, and trust that often reveals insights that are difficult to access through thinking alone. Whether your experience is joyful, quiet, playful, emotional, or deeply restful, each person's journey unfolds in its own unique way.

Living Latihan builds on this foundation by exploring how the same qualities of presence, intuition, and embodied awareness can become part of everyday life—helping us move through our relationships, choices, work, and home with greater authenticity and ease.

Evening One — Listening to Your Inner Compass

We begin by exploring what it feels like to move without agenda and to recognize the subtle sensations of a genuine "yes" and "no." Through discussion, a guided hypnotic journey, and a full Latihan practice, you'll begin discovering what your body already knows before your mind has time to explain it.

Between sessions, you'll experiment with bringing this way of listening into your everyday life.

Evening Two — Bringing Presence Into Relationship

What changes when you trust your inner experience while relating with others?

We'll harvest insights from the week's exploration before introducing relational practices inspired by Betty Martin's Wheel of Consent. Together we'll explore receiving, allowing, taking, and serving—not as concepts, but as lived experiences—and carry those discoveries into another Latihan practice.

Evening Three — A Deeper Living Latihan

By now the group has developed a shared language and a deeper level of trust.

Our final evening invites you into a unique Latihan experience that builds organically on everything we've explored together. Rather than revealing every detail in advance, we'll allow the practice to emerge from the energy, discoveries, and readiness of the group itself.

Expect an evening unlike any Latihan you've experienced before.
