Just like borrowing a book, you'll be immersed in their tales with the chance to interact and engage, or simply listen if you prefer.
Featured Living Books:
1. Greg Norton: Farmer, Entrepreneur
Greg is a 3rd generation local farmer who has been farming in the area for 40 years. After a work accident in 1993, Greg's life changed as he began using a wheelchair. Despite this, he continues to farm and has developed accessible tourism accommodation on the Capel River. Greg loves rugby and skiing and recently started supplying malt to local breweries and distilleries. His story is one of resilience and innovation, and we can't wait to hear what he has to share!
2. Joan Parke: Educator, Artist
Growing up in Donnybrook, Joan Parke has made a significant impact in Busselton and beyond through her work with children and her artistic talents. At 60-something, Joan packed her bags and headed to the Pilbara to work at a tiny community school, where she continued her mission of engaging kids in learning. Joan's adventures and dedication to education are sure to inspire everyone who attends.
Don't miss this chance to connect with your community through the power of stories. See you there!
