Living Library

What if the most powerful stories in the library weren't on the shelves?

The Living Library offers a unique opportunity to engage in conversation with people who share their lived experiences, perspectives and personal stories.

Much like borrowing a book, participants can select a "living book" and spend time in respectful, one-to-one dialogue.

The experience is designed to encourage curiosity, challenge assumptions, and promote understanding through genuine human connection.

As part of Mental Health Awareness Month, the Living Library creates a welcoming space for listening, learning and meaningful conversations that help build empathy, reduce stigma and strengthen community connections. Encouraging understanding through conversation, one story at a time.
