We’ll look at how dehydration works, which foods dehydrate well, and how this method can extend the life of fruits, vegetables and herbs.

Participants will learn the foundations of safe food dehydration, including preparation techniques, storage considerations and everyday uses for dehydrated foods. The focus is on realistic, home-based approaches that can be adapted to your own kitchen.

This free workshop is part of the Living Lightly series and is delivered by Bass Coast Adult Learning in partnership with Bass Coast Shire Council.
