During this unmissable event, Professor Bas Bloem from the Netherlands will share insights about the coming Parkinson’s Pandemic, his thoughts on a cure, optimism about future treatments and the importance of self-management and multidisciplinary care. Professor Bloem will share ways to slow down the progression of Parkinson’s for a better quality of life.

Connie Carpenter-Phinney Olympian gold medalist and co-founder of the Davis Phinney Foundation for Parkinson’s in the USA will highlight how we can navigate our role as a care-partner of a person with Parkinson’s and describe strategies to help with overcoming any challenges or stresses. Connie will share how care-partners can live fully while caring for a person who is living with this progressive condition.

Barry Snow, a New Zealand based Neurologist, will expand on both Bas’s and Connie’s presentations by facilitating a question-and-answer session.
